As Managing Partner of RCP, Jared is responsible for the overall strategic vision of the firm. He serves as the head of the investment committee and his duties also include portfolio management and originating and closing on acquisition and development deals for the company. He has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years. Prior to forming RCP in 2008, Jared served as an Acquisitions Officer for KTR Capital (2006-08), which was a series of "value add” focused real estate private equity funds investing solely in the industrial sector across North America. KTR was purchased by Prologis in 2015 for $5.9 billion. Previously (2004-06), Jared was a Vice President at HRO Asset Management, investing in real estate across the United States on behalf of a $2 billion foreign real estate fund. Jared began his career in 1997 at Cushman & Wakefield as an Associate in the Advisory Services Group and later joined an international investment group within the firm.

Jared holds an MBA with an emphasis on real estate, finance and management from Columbia Business School (2004) and a BA in English Literature from St. Lawrence University (1997).

As Chief Financial Officer of RCP, Tom is responsible for overseeing the firm’s finances and financial reporting and is a member of the investment committee. He is also integral to developing and executing the firm’s strategic vision with over 30 years of real estate experience in both the public and private sectors, working for both domestic and foreign clients, with significant experience in acquisitions, finance, asset management and JV development. His successful track record includes executing a U.S. investment strategy for a German open-ended real estate fund sponsored by Commerzbank; acquiring approximately $800 million in assets which were sold prior to the 2008 U.S. market downturn for $1.2 billion, significantly exceeding investment return targets; co-founding Tellus Investors LLC, a private real estate investment company in a $100 million joint venture with Prudential, and over $2.0 billion of acquisitions and the refinancing of over $400 million of secured mortgage debt at Cornerstone Properties, a public U.S. office REIT, where Tom held the position of Treasurer when the company was sold to Sam Zell’s Equity Office Properties in 2000.

Tom holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1996) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University (1987).

As Senior Vice President of RCP, Chad is responsible for all construction and development projects of the firm. He also is involved in portfolio management and acquisitions. He has been in the real estate and construction industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining RCP, Chad was a Vice President of Development for University Housing Group where he oversaw the development of two student housing projects totaling 940 beds in Nevada and Tennessee. Over the course of his career, Chad has successfully managed the construction of over $525mm in construction costs and more than 5,000 multifamily units.

Chad holds a BS in Civil Engineering, Magna Cum Laude from University of North Carolina – Charlotte and is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina.

As a Principal of RCP, Bobby works alongside the Partners to source and underwrite new acquisition opportunities and oversee the asset management of the portfolio. He has been in the student housing real estate industry for eight years. Prior to joining RCP, Bobby served as a Portfolio Manager for Cardinal Group Management, which is one of the top student housing operators in the country. In this role, he oversaw the property management of the RCP portfolio, which included seven properties totaling 3,307 beds. Previously (2011-15), Bobby worked on-site as a Community Manager for a Class B garden-style asset (600 beds) in Raleigh, NC followed by working as an Area Manager for two Class A high-rise assets (977 beds total) in Tucson, AZ.

Bobby holds an MBA from North Carolina State University (2011) and a BS in Polymer Chemistry from North Carolina State University (2009).
